The routes

Seven routes across the Red Sea

Offshore reefs like Brothers and Daedalus can only be reached on a liveaboard. Choose between historic wrecks, sharks in open water or a bit of everything.

Dive sites

Wall · open water
Brothers Islands
Two islets in the open sea, with almost untouched coral walls and excellent visibility. The place to look for hammerheads and oceanic whitetip sharks. Currents can be strong.
Wall · lighthouse
Daedalus
The reef furthest from the Egyptian coast, with its lighthouse as a landmark: you can climb it and watch the sunset from the top. Walls full of life, exceptional visibility, oceanic whitetips and, with luck, hammerheads. Currents can sometimes be demanding.
Wall · north and south plateaus
Elphinstone
Coral walls dropping into the deep blue and two plateaus, north and south. Turtles, schools of colourful fish and frequent shark encounters, including hammerheads and oceanic whitetips if you are lucky.
Wreck · Safaga
Salem Express
A ferry that sank off Safaga in 1991. A dive full of history, done with respect and surrounded by marine life.
Reef · Safaga
Panorama Reef
Impressive coral formations and a huge variety of fish. Ideal for a night dive.
Reef · Hurghada
Sha'ab El Erg (Dolphin House)
A large horseshoe-shaped reef north of Hurghada, with coral gardens. Famous because dolphins are often around.

Fauna: Hammerheads and oceanic whitetips at Daedalus and Elphinstone, whitetips at Brothers, turtles and schools of fish.
